Hand pulled by the artist from the original endgrain maple blocks on an Ettan etching press at Juneau, Alaska, July, 1990.

An Athabascan tale from the Yukon River country. Raven fell in love with a beautiful goose and they married but Raven couldn't keep up with the geese when the flew South in the Fall and the geese had to abandon him on a piece of driftwood. Raven gathered more driftwood and made islands of them but he was a long time finding his way back to his village.
