Remember the Crabs in Red Bluff Bay? (1961)

Woodcut
Dale DeArmond
Unknown Edition
Unknown proofs were produced

Print size: 14 ¾" x 19"

Editor's note: this is one of DeArmond's earliest woodcut prints; the example shown is from an unnumbered artist proof. In an article from American Artist magazine (April 1982), Dale mentioned a print she had previously completed (although it's not specifically mentioned by name, and the image shown does have an additional color – green):

She remembers her first three-color print… "It was a crab, done in black, blue and red… a really beautiful red."
