Illustration for an Athabascan folktale from the Yukon River country. A story about a girl who chased a butterfly into the sky where she was captured by Spider Woman for a wife for her youngest son. But the girl missed her family so much that Spider Woman spun a long thread and lowered the girl back to earth.
