Hand pulled by the artist from the original endgrain maple blocks on an Ettan etching press at Sitka, Alaska, June, 1991.

An Athabascan folktale. The sun and the stars were brothers and they had one sister who was the moon. The sister set off on a journey to find a husband and the brothers followed her. When the sister reached the edge of the world she climbed into the sky and the others followed her. They all died smiling and there they are to this day.
