Editor's note: this short book was adapted from an original story by Edward Paramore, and first appeared in Vanity Fair magazine in 1921. It was a parody of poems originally by Robert Service. The pamphlet was lithographed by the Sitka Printing Company. Undated, it is estimated to have been released shortly after Dale's work first appeared in Sitka Cook Book (1949).

Today, this book is extremely scarce. It appears to exist in the permanent collection of only a few institutions. There are nine pen-and-ink illustrations by Dale in total; they are featured below.
